To me, that means time to listen. Space to ask questions. And someone who stays with you through the decisions that matter.
Whether you’re buying your first home or selling a property you’ve built a life around, you deserve thoughtful preparation, honest conversation, and care that doesn’t depend on the price of the house.
“I strive to make all my clients feel like they’re the only client in my wheelhouse.”
Lindsay BuhlerThere’s a person behind the profession.
Meet Lindsay
Serious about the work. Comfortable being myself.
Born and raised in Montana, Lindsay Buhler is a real estate broker and supervising broker with Engel & Völkers in Hamilton. She helps buyers and sellers throughout the Bitterroot Valley, bringing local knowledge and thoughtful guidance to each move.
Her background in mental health, administration, and staging and design shapes how she works: listening closely, communicating clearly, and helping clients see the possibilities in their next move. For Lindsay, real estate is about more than buying and selling houses—it’s about people, relationships, and the stories that come with each move. She believes every buyer and seller deserves honest advice, thoughtful guidance, and attentive service at every price point.
When she’s not working, family and community are at the heart of Lindsay’s life. She loves spending time with her husband, Ken, and their twins, Hogan and Hannah, enjoying the Bitterroot Valley and all that Western Montana has to offer. There’s usually a little chaos, plenty of laughter, and something going on. And yes, she sure does love her chickens, too.
We’ll start with what matters to you, then work through the homes, questions, and tradeoffs together. I’ll help you understand the next step, from the first showing through the day you can move in.
Your home needs someone who can tell its story and answer the questions a photograph can’t. We’ll work through preparation, pricing, and presentation, then stay involved through showings, negotiation, and closing.
You’re deciding where everyday life will happen. We’ll talk about how you want to live, what you need nearby, and what owning a particular property will involve.
Buying here while selling somewhere else takes coordination. I can help you keep those conversations connected, including working with your agent in the place you’re leaving.

Bitterroot Mountain views, a back deck, and room to settle in. This Corvallis home brings vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors together with a fenced backyard and an attached three-car garage.
Before a showing, think beyond a list of rooms. Bring the questions about your actual day: where you’ll work, where the gear goes, how you’ll gather, and what you’re ready to maintain.
At the kitchen table
You can ask the small questions, too.
What stays with the house? Who has the manuals? When can you pick up the keys? The practical details deserve as much attention as the big decisions.
In the chicken yard
Even good advice can have an unexpected audience.
A new short-video series is taking shape: real estate questions, straight answers, and a few feathered listeners. First conversation coming after filming.
Making sense of the market
Start with the homes that matter to you.
What are you considering, and what would help you decide? We’ll look at the relevant homes, talk through the choices, and connect the market conversation to your own plans.
A town is more than its properties. Its shops, makers and familiar faces are part of everyday life. Those local connections matter when you’re finding your place in the Bitterroot.
